Surf Life Saving SA Launches New Membership Campaign
Swap doom scrolling for patrolling. Swap boring for belonging. Swap your everyday routine for a season full of action, adventure, camaraderie, and the chance to make a real difference.
Surf Life Saving SA’s new membership campaign, ‘Bored? We’ll Save You.’, is here, inviting South Australians to discover the friendships, purpose and excitement waiting at their local club.
Developed with Floodlight Agency, the campaign will appear across digital advertising, social media, radio, and outdoors across billboards and bus shelters, alongside printed posters and promotional materials in clubs and local communities.
At its heart, the campaign celebrates everything you gain from getting involved: new experiences, lasting memories, a role to be proud of, and a community where everybody belongs. With opportunities in the water, on the sand and behind the scenes, there’s a place for people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and interests.

The campaign also comes with member benefits over the next three years, helping us say thanks to current members while welcoming and supporting new and returning members to the Surf Life Saving community.
Free Member Thank You First Aid training
Your First Aid training is on us! All financial members can access FREE Provide First Aid training (HLTAID011), valued at $170, for the next three years. With a range of dates, times and locations available, it’s an opportunity to build confidence and learn valuable skills you can use in all areas of life.
Complimentary Patrol Kit
Get ready for the season with a brand new patrol kit! Eligible existing, returning and new patrolling members can claim a complimentary kit, including a patrol top, shorts, a choice of trucker or wide brim hat, skullcap, sunscreen and thongs.
