Education and Training Manager

The Education and Training Manager is a member of the senior leadership team and responsible for the strategic management, development and growth of all commercial and member based training and education. The role will be fundamentally responsible for supporting all member based training and assessment, successfully managing SLSSA as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and growing the success of our commercial training offerings. The role will also be responsible for overseeing the exciting growth and success of Life Saving SA and its related products and services.

Community Programs Manager

The Community Programs Manager is a member of the senior leadership team and responsible for the development, delivery and growth of all community focused programs.

The role will be fundamentally responsible for growing the delivery of Vacswim to be state-wide. The successful applicant will ensure the continued growth and success of all community programs such as SurfBabies, Little Lifesavers and our suite of inclusive and culturally and linguistically diverse education programs. These programs are aimed to assist SLSSA achieve its vision of “zero preventable drownings in South Australian waters”.

CASUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES | Boating and Pool Assessments

Boat Licence Course Facilitators:

Are you an experienced boatie that is passionate about boating safety? We are seeking expressions of interest from our community to help build a team of presenters to deliver our boat licence courses.

We’re looking to engage a casual employee, with flexible work arrangements to help deliver boat licence courses across the state. Courses are primarily offered in the evening or on weekends, so this opportunity is perfect for someone looking for additional income.

We’re looking for people who have experience or skills in presenting to a group and understands the importance of boating safety. Maybe you love fishing or water skiing or are involved in operating an SLSSA motorised watercraft. No formal qualifications required. Pool Safety Assessments:

Are you an experienced pool operator or safety auditor? We are seeking expressions of interest from our community to help build a team of assessors to conduct pool safety assessments for aquatic facilities.

We’re looking to engage a casual employee, with flexible work arrangements to conduct pool safety assessments for aquatic facilities across the state.

We’re looking for people who have experience or skills in the operations of aquatic facilities and/or is an experienced auditor. Surf Babies and Little Lifesavers Program - Instructors wanted!

We are looking for suitably qualified instructors to join our team and teach the Surf Babies and Little Lifesavers Program in 2021.

If you hold a Surf Recue Certificate or Surf Bronze Medallion and have experience in working with children in early childhood, then we want you!
