COASTAL SAFETY RESOURCES
Surf Life Saving SA is the leading coastal safety authority in South Australia. For over one hundred years, our members have been committed to creating safer beaches for all South Australians. Each day of the year, we are working towards our goal of zero preventable deaths in South Australian waters. Today, we have over 9,000 volunteer members continuing to patrol beaches, perform rescues, and provide education and information to keep the community safe at the beach. Our staff and volunteer members are part of the most well-trained, well-organised and well-respected lifesaving movements anywhere in the world.
Surf Life Saving SA and its members are committed to keeping South Australian beachgoers safe through patrols, lifeguard services, professional training services, rescue capabilities and community education programs. We believe accessible education is an integral part of what we do. Offering free information and education to all members of the community means we can equip people with the skills and knowledge to enjoy our beautiful beaches safely.
