Join Surf Life Saving South Australia and local emergency health professionals for an interactive community workshop focused on managing trauma in aquatic environments.

This session will help participants to gain valuable knowledge, practical skills and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations involving severe bleeding and spinal injuries — common risks in surf, beach, and water-based activities.

WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Practical and theoretical training on emergency trauma care

  • Hands-on experience with Trauma First Aid Kits now located at beaches across the state

  • Learn what’s inside the kits and how to use the equipment safely and effectively
