The Infront SA Surf League is Surf Life Saving SA’s premier high-performance competition

Showcasing the state’s best surf lifesaving athletes, the league runs across three action-packed rounds where teams go head-to-head on the sand and in the surf. Individual and team races take place in Swim, Board, Ski, Beach Sprints, Beach Flags, and IRB Racing.

The competition boasts four teams representative of - Mid Coast Mantas (green), Southern Stingers (orange), Holdfast Hurricanes (yellow), and Western Warriors (pink).

Each team represents one of our key coastal regions, bringing together clubs and athletes from across the South Australian coastline. With three rounds hosted across the Fleurieu Peninsula, Mid Coast, and Metro Coast, the series provides an opportunity to showcase the best of all regions — highlighting local talent, club spirit, and the incredible depth of surf lifesaving across our state.

Athletes are selected based on previous competition results and allocated into random teams with other athletes from different clubs across the state.

First launched in 2021, this highly competitive series provides an opportunity for current and emerging talent to develop and demonstrate their skills ahead of national selections.
