And it’s about so much more than what happens between the red and yellow flags. There are opportunities in the water, on the sand and behind the scenes all across South Australia - from the coastline between Whyalla and Beachport to inland Elizabeth and even the river at Murray Bridge. You don’t need to be a strong swimmer - or even get wet - to be part of it.

Surf Life Saving SA is providing all patrolling members with FREE First Aid training over the next three years, along with a brand-new patrol kit. It’s our way of thanking the members who have continued to stand by us, supporting new members as they begin their journey and welcoming returning members back to the Surf Life Saving family.
FREE FIRST AID TRAINING
For the next three years, eligible patrolling members can access FREE Provide First Aid training, helping you gain valuable skills to respond in an emergency - at the beach, at home or in the wider community.
COMPLIMENTARY PATROL KIT
All existing, returning and new patrolling members can receive a complimentary patrol kit, including a patrol top, shorts, choice of hat, skullcap, sunscreen and thongs, to ensure you’re ready for patrol!
