Member aXcelerate Course Request Form

Member Education

SLSSA uses the student management system ‘aXcelerate’ to manage members’ enrolments into courses and qualifications, and sets these up on behalf of all clubs. Clubs that plan to deliver training and need a course set up on aXcelerate are asked to submit the request via this form, rather than via email or SLACK.

As we transition to using the aXcelerate app for assessments, we will also allocate any linked TAF to the course so that they can see who is enrolled.

aXcelerate Learning Plans & Assessments

Courses using Learner Plans and the aXcelerate app for assessments include SRC, ART and Resus.

TAF delivering these Awards who require support with aXcelerate should refer to the SOP and additional support resources, or contact the Member Education team via the aXcelerate Support page.

Form Completion Support

Courses

  • All club-delivered and EOG awards require specific course set-up (ie No open ended courses supported)

  • Please provide as much information as possible when submitting the form so that Member Ed staff don’t have to come back to you asking for additional details.

    • Course Start Date - Please enter the actual date the course commences, rather than the date you would like the course to be published on the website. Courses will automatically be removed from the website once the course start date has passed. All participants must therefore be enrolled before the course start date.

    • Enrolments

      • Clubs can utilise the ‘Participant booking-information-template’ to bulk enrol members. Refer to the TAF Resource and Reference Guide for instructions.

      • All Members MUST be enrolled before the assessment.

Probationary Trainer and Assessor Opportunities

  • By submitting a request form, the Member Ed team are more aware of what training is taking place, where and when.

  • They will use this information to check that all trainers and assessors, including those undertaking the probationary process, are eligible to do so.

  • They can also promote and connect you to anyone looking for an opportunity to deliver or assess a course as part of the Probationary process.

Confirmation of Setup

  • Member Ed staff will let you know once the course/s have been set up. Please allow a few days for this to be done, especially in peak times.

  • Once they are made live, members can access them via the Member Courses section of the SLSSA website to enrol

Form 14s

  • Clubs are encouraged to start a Form 14 once a course has been published and members have started to enrol into them.

  • If a trainer or member can not be added to the form, it normally means that:

    • They don’t meet the requirements of the award, or

    • They are already on a Form 14 for the same award

  • Please ensure that the Form 14 has been submitted at least 2 weeks before the requested assessment date, and has the correct information such as time and date. The Member Ed team use this information when they are requesting Assessors.

  • Late submissions of Form 14s will not be supported
