2025 Australian Pool Rescue Championships Results

It was an incredibly successful campaign for South Australia at the 2025 National and Interstate Pool Rescue Championships, hosted on home soil at the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre in Adelaide.

South Australian pool rescue athletes were proud to celebrate a monumental 182 podium finishes, including 65 gold, 61 silver and 56 bronze medals. This was topped with a number of Championship records and 72 State records. Event results can be found online via LiveHeats.

These monster results helped propel SA clubs into the top five pointscore tallies, including:

  • West Beach Surf Life Saving - 1st in Masters (194 points), 2nd in Open (258 points)

  • Henley Surf Life Saving Club - 3rd in Masters (141 points)

  • Grange Surf Life Saving Club - 5th in Open (204 points)

The South Australian state team also claimed their fourth consecutive bronze in the Interstate Championships, securing 220 points behind New South Wales and Queensland.

South Australian team selected for the 2025 SLSA Interstate Surf Boat Challenge

Surf Life Saving SA is thrilled to congratulate the eight surf boat crews selected for the 2025 SLSA Interstate Surf Boat Challenge.

The SLSA Interstate Surf Boat Challenge will take place alongside the ASRL Open in Coffs Harbour, NSW, from the 13th to the 16th of February.

2024 Interstate Championships and Super Surf Teams League Results

The SA Reds were proud to travel to Wanda, New South Wales for the Interstate Championships and Super Surf Teams League (SSTL)

Overall, South Australia finished 5th in the Interstate Championships. In the SSTL, the SA Lightning (Open) finished in 8th out of 15 teams, and the SA Thunder (youth) in 4th on count back

It was a challenging yet incredibly rewarding three days of competition, with some thrilling results coming from both our Open and Youth teams. Congratulations to the below athletes who celebrated podium finishes.
