New Surf Sport Support Portal Launched

New Surf Sport Support Portal – Supporting Clubs and Members

Surf Life Saving South Australia has officially launched a new Surf Sport Support Portal, designed to provide clubs, members and officials with a clearer, more efficient way to submit and track sport-related enquiries.

Building on the success of the existing Lifesaving Portal, the Surf Sport module will be integrated into the same system, creating one central point of contact for all Surf Sport enquiries, requests and support.

Why we’re introducing the Surf Sport Portal

With a small Surf Sport team delivering more than 40 event days each year, particularly during peak competition periods, managing enquiries across multiple communication channels has been challenging.

The new Surf Sport Support Portal will:

  • Provide a single, central channel for all Surf Sport enquiries

  • Reduce the risk of enquiries being missed

  • Allow the wider team to view requests, notes and progress, enabling support when team members are unavailable

  • Improve prioritisation and response times

  • Automatically confirm receipt of enquiries, including a unique support request number

Surf Sport is a vital part of Surf Life Saving, and this new system is an important step in strengthening communication and support for clubs and members.

How to access the portal

The Surf Sport Support Portal can be accessed via www.surflifesavingsa.com.au/portal

If you or your members are accessing the system for the first time, you will be prompted to create a quick and simple profile. This allows us to communicate with you and track the progress of your requests.

What we’re asking from clubs and members

To support a smooth transition to the new system, we ask that:

  • All Surf Sport enquiries are submitted through the portal as the first point of contact

  • Direct emails or personal contact with Surf Sport staff are avoided where possible

  • If a phone call is required, please contact reception. If the enquiry cannot be resolved immediately, a support request will be logged on your behalf to ensure it is captured and actioned

What’s next

The portal has been intentionally designed to be simple and easy to use in its initial rollout. Feedback is welcomed as we trial the system, with opportunities to introduce additional features over time.

Thank you for your support in adopting the new Surf Sport Support Portal. This initiative represents a significant step forward in how we support clubs and members, helping ensure enquiries are captured, tracked and resolved as efficiently as possible.
