Parnggi Yarluwar Porlar (PYP)

A Water Safety Program for First Nations Children

Surf Life Saving SA has partnered with Tjindu Foundation, as well as several swimming centres and surf life saving clubs in South Australia, to provide 200 First Nations children an opportunity to participate in swimming lessons at local pools before heading to our surf life saving clubs to participate in our Nippers program. The initiative is the Parnggi Yarluwar Porlar project, meaning Water Ocean Kids, representing the swimming pool, surf life saving and children.
