Golden Club Program 2023-2024

Help the next generation of Surf Life Savers reach their full potential, by making an impact that you can see today.

We’re seeking your help to fund specific learning and development programs for our members, in targeted and constructive ways. It’s your opportunity to see the impact that a donation can make, for the movement that’s played a huge part of your life.

This is the Surf Life Saving South Australia - Golden Club Program.

The Golden Club aims to raise funds to support programs in important member development areas;

MEMBER DEVELOPMENT | SPORT | LIFESAVING | TRAINING & EDUCATION

In each of these areas, there are a number of different programs and initiatives that the organization is able to fund. As a Golden Club program member, you’ll get the opportunity to help pick what the next initiative will be. Examples include;

  • Youth development camps

  • High performance training

  • Extra coaching opportunities

  • Interstate competition or experience travel costs

  • Leadership programs

  • Certificate IV in training & education courses

  • Workshops

  • Targeted specialist training

  • Delivering new innovations & technology

  • & more

The goal of the Golden Club is to raise $5,000-$15,000 per program, to help ensure we can deliver meaningful and impactful learning and development opportunities for your fellow members.

And as a Golden Club member, you’ll not only get to directly see the impact that your donation has for the next generation, there’s also some great benefits for you as well.

GOLDEN CLUB PROGRAM - BENEFITS

As a Golden Club program donor, your membership includes various benefits. We have 3 tiers of Golden Club membership available, these are:

GOLDEN CLUB MEMBER - $500

  • SLSSA Branded Trucker Cap (Usually exclusive to staff and board members only)

  • Name in SLSSA annual report to live on in the history books

  • Name on the SLSSA website as a Golden Club program supporter for current year

  • Invite to come along to visit the program in action that you have supported* (*Where relevant and possible)

GOLDEN CLUB CHAMPION - $1,000

  • All of the above, plus;

  • Exclusive Golden Club Pin (with current program year on it)

  • Exclusive Golden Club polo (with current program year on it)

  • 2x tickets to SLSSA State Championships VIP function

GOLDEN CLUB LEGEND - $5,000+

  • Includes all Golden Club & Golden Club Champion benefits, plus;

  • Exclusive luncheon with SLSA National President, SLSSA State President & SLSSA CEO

  • 2x Tickets to the SLSSA Awards of Excellence

  • Exclusive SLSSA branded jacket (Usually exclusive to staff and board members only)

And of course, for any membership tier that you select to support the program, it includes the special feeling of knowing and seeing that you’re supporting the next generation.

PROGRAMS AVAILABLE FOR 2023-2024

DEVELOPMENT - FUTURE PRESIDENTS FORUM

  • FUNDRAISING GOAL - $11,250 (required by January 2024)

SPORT - YOUTH PATHWAYS

  • FUNDRAISING GOAL - $8,650 (required by October 2023)

LIFESAVING - FLOOD SWIFT WATER RESCUE TRAINING

  • FUNDRAISING GOAL - $12,000 (required by December 2023)

We strongly believe that the 3 programs we have selected across member development, sport and lifesaving will be of great benefit to our volunteers, and importantly, give you the opportunity to see the impact that your donation will make.

To become a Golden Club member, select the program you’d like to donate to from the buttons below and follow the prompts.

Please note, whilst we will make all endeavors to run each program selected, if a program does not receive the minimum funds required by the closing date, we may not be able to deliver it. Should the minimum funds required to run the program not be raised, donors will be contacted and offered options to transfer their donation to one of our other Golden Club Programs, or receive a refund of their donation, or have their donation held for a future program.
