A HELPING HAND
Surf Life Saving is an inclusive organisation that offers something for everyone. We want all Australians to live an active life, to get involved in life, to participate, and to help save lives.
Becoming part of Surf Life Saving means embracing the Australian way of life, meeting great people and getting involved – it means being Australian for life.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
People from all walks of life become involved with surf life saving. Surf life saving is a movement built on volunteers who love giving back to their community, who are looking for fun, fitness and new challenges. There are a number of ways you can get involved with surf life saving, not all of which involve donning the red and yellow. You could be an official, athlete, coach, fundraiser, junior activities supervisor, trainer and assessor, rescue boat driver, radio operator, committee member, or BBQ chef extraordinaire!
You don't have to be a 6-footer. You don't have to get up every morning and train. You don't even have to get your toes wet.
To find out how you can help, contact your local club directly, or get in touch with us on 08 8354 6900.
